After 10 years of dreaming about running a marathon I ran the Peachtree City Classic in 2004. My dreams of running culminated on that day in October when I saw a runner three times my age pass me by, leaving me to think to myself "Why am I doing this?" I left my hopes at the finish line.
Fast forward six years. The Kids are older now, I'm a little bit wiser, and I've got my mojo back. I know for sure that I don't run because of marathons, I run because I love it and it keeps me balanced. I also love meeting inspirational people. So I'm hitting the pavement in hopes of fulfilling my dreams of crossing the finish lines and to meet some amazing, gifted people.
